Overview

Oversee a portfolio of business and technology team contracts with a focus on expanding the IT footprint / capabilities both in Canada and globally.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a risk-based approach and market analysis to evaluate the relevant business, security, and legal requirements for each vendor relationship, and engage in negotiations to address needs and mitigate identified risks.
• Oversee and manage the contract lifecycle (new, renewal, perpetual, etc.) to ensure compliance with corporate policies and governance, while leveraging expertise from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assess the contractual hierarchy framework, draft minor amendments using pre-approved legal templates, and administer contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Identify and escalate risks related to contracts and Third-Party Vendors, aligning with business needs and enhancing shareholder value.
