**Procedural Scheduler at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.**
**Per Diem/Day Shift**
The Cardiovascular Scheduling Specialist is accountable for scheduling various complex Cardiovascular procedures by obtaining appropriate cardiovascular procedure, and other specialized resources, implants and current/historical medical information (i.e., ICD9 Coding, Medical History, including allergies and Patient Demographic Profile). Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and enterprise scheduling protocols. Coordinating scheduling with anesthesia & other departments will occur. Cardiovascular Specialist must also think independently and make relatively complex decisions in a fast-paced environment.
