Principal Test Engineer

This Position reports to Engineering test manager

Principal Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
• Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
• Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices

Required Skills

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree and 8 years of related experience
• At this level, graduate coursework may be preferred

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
