Principal Software Developer – Video Division (Vancouver, BC)

Responsibilities

• Drive technical leadership and architectural governance across the Video Division.
• Translate complex business objectives and product requirements into scalable, reliable system architectures.
• Partner with Product Management, Security, and Engineering leadership to evaluate technical trade‑offs and mitigate long‑term systemic risks.
• Define the long‑term technical vision and architectural roadmap for next‑generation cloud and on‑premise streaming platforms.
• Provide end‑to‑end software solutions encompassing design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support.
• Own systemic non‑functional requirements, including scalability, high availability, ultra‑low‑latency media delivery, and hardware‑software isolation.
