About the Jansen Project
Imagine being part of something truly world‑class, shaping the future of sustainable agriculture and responsible resource development. The Jansen Potash Project is located about 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines on the planet. With a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment, it marks the biggest private investment in Saskatchewan’s history and a bold step forward for BHP in Canada. The project will create around 5,500 construction jobs and, once in operation, 900 permanent roles.
