Opportunity Description
Patient Care and Clinical Services
Conduct consultations and assessments for patients presenting with minor ailments within the pharmacist’s scope of practice.
Prescribe, dispense, and manage treatment according to Primary Care Drug Therapy protocols and evidence-based guidelines.
Provide counselling on medicine use, adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health promotion.
Compliance and Regulatory Duties
Ensure compliance with SAPC GPP standards, the Pharmacy Act 53 of 1974, and the Medicines Act 101 of 1965.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in line with POPIA regulations.
Comply with reporting requirements for adverse drug reactions, pharmacovigilance, and controlled medicines.
Support internal audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
