Power Engineer Class 3 Or Class 4 With Experience Souris

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Power Engineer is responsible for the secure operation of the plant's boiler, electrical generator, heating, and air handling systems.

This position is located in Souris, PEI.

Qualifications

• Hold a class 3 (or class 4 with experience) power engineer ticket in Canada.
• Currently be living in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the high‑pressure boiler.
• Operate and maintain the electrical heating boiler.
• Operate and maintain the backup electrical generator.
• Operate and maintain the building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Assist the maintenance of boiler equipment.
• Maintain required reports, daily logs and reading sheets.
• Perform appropriate chemical tests on boiler water.
