Opportunity Description

General Accountability

As a key member of the maintenance team the Power Engineer will ensure that the day‑to‑day operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Power Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all production equipment used in the facility. Additionally, he or she will warrant safe plant operations and a safe working environment for all employees.

Critical Success Factors

  • Perform required routine as well as complex maintenance activities in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure that all Alberta safety codes, procedures, policies, and regulations are followed
  • Monitor alarms, gauges, and other instruments associated with plant operations and as per Alberta regulations
  • Ensure that equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency
