Postdoc in modelling of solid-state NMR experiments

A three-year postdoc position is available in modelling of solid-state NMR experiments from 1 October 2026 (or soon thereafter) in the Danish Center for Ultrahigh-Field NMR Spectroscopy at the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University in the group of Prof. Thomas Vosegaard. The place of work is Gustav Wieds Vej 14, 8000 Aarhus C.

Project goal and tasks

We combine state-of-the-art instrumentation and experiments with modelling of these experiments. As part of this, we have developed new algorithms and a completely new web-based platform – EasyNMR - for performing such modelling/simulations. With this position, we seek to strengthen the platform by embedding/developing additional tools for data processing and analysis. The starting point for the developments will be our EasyNMR platform (see ). Current application areas range include materials/catalysis, lipidomics, and NMR of food systems, but we seek to be domain agnostic in our analyses.
