Become a pivotal member of Pomerleau’s construction team as a Health and Safety Coordinator. Oversee safety standards and hazard management on multi-million dollar projects with hybrid work flexibility.
In this role, you will contribute to the safety framework for construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, identifying risk scenarios, and enforcing compliance with OHS standards. Engaging in committee meetings and preparing essential reports will also form a part of your collaborative efforts to enhance workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety compliance initiatives on-site
• Develop and refresh safety programs
• Conduct workplace inspections and hazard assessments
• Facilitate OHS orientations for construction workers
