Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position: To serve as the Arctic Advisor and Air Planner for Alaskan Command (ALCOM), Directorate of Plans, Policy, and Programs at a United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) subordinate unified (subunified) command. Responsible for leading development of the air-centric domains of homeland defense (HD) and defense support of civil authorities (DSCA) plans and operations as well as managing the development of ALCOM outyear Homeland Defense Campaign Order (HDCO) operations, activities, exercises, and investments. As ALCOM Commander's Arctic Region Advisor and Subject Matter Expert, delivers current situational understanding to the commander in support of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), USNORTHCOM, and ALCOM mission areas of responsibility.
