Ardurra is seeking a Plan Checker II - Journey Level to join our team in Southern California!

Position SummaryPerforms independent review of a broad range of civil infrastructure plans and exercises professional judgment in applying municipal standards and requirements.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Independently review civil plans and technical documents

  • Coordinate directly with applicants and municipal staff

  • Provide responses to technical questions regarding comments and corrections

  • Independently evaluate coordination between multiple civil disciplines and supporting documents

  • Identify and resolve plan coordination issues affecting constructability, quantities, or compliance

  • Participate in technical coordination meetings or calls with project engineers as needed
