Opportunity Description
Join Interior Health Authority as a part-time Physiotherapist based at Invermere and District Hospital. Engage in the rehabilitation of patients in acute and long-term care environments.
This position is organized over a Monday to Friday schedule, focusing on delivering quality physiotherapy services. About 60% of your work will take place in acute care, with the rest dedicated to long-term residents. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you'll have the responsibility of assessment, treatment planning, and supporting functional independence for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Facilitate rehabilitation programs in both acute and long-term care
• Guide and educate clients and their caregivers
• Collaborate for successful patient health outcomes
• Participate in departmental quality assurance programs
