The Phlebotomist III plays a key role in providing high-quality specimen collection and support within a fast-paced laboratory or hospital environment. This position not only performs blood draws and other specimen collections, but also assists with troubleshooting, training team members, and recommending workflow improvements to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant operations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform venipunctures and blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles with a high degree of accuracy and care.
+ Collect and store blood, urine, fecal, and other specimens according to established procedures and protocol.
+ Clearly and courteously explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and verify that all test requisitions or computer labels are 100% accurate against t...
