Phlebotomist (CPT I) - Per Diem - Clinical Laboratory - Marina Hospital

**Job Description**
The Clinical Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for collecting blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary puncture, and for receiving clinical specimens in the laboratory computer system. Additional responsibilities include performing clerical tasks, processing send-out and pathology specimens, greeting and assisting outpatients, ordering and entering test orders into the computer system.
**Qualifications**
Education
+ High School Diploma/GED High School diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED) - minimum
+ Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree - preferred
Experience
+ 1 year Acute care - preferred
Licenses and Certifications
+ Phlebotomy Certification CA - Upon Hire minimum Current Phlebotomy licensure in the State of California (required).
