GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Contract Sourcing Specialist reports to the Pharmacy Director – Drug Use Policy and Pharmacy Sourcing, Henry Ford Health, and works closely with the managers and staff in other areas of the Henry Ford Health Pharmacy Product Line as assigned. Supports the pharmacy purchasing office(s) within the Henry Ford Health Pharmacy Product Line, as a member of the Pharmacy Commodity Team within Henry Ford Health. Focuses on system pharmacy product standardization initiatives, existing Henry Ford Health pharmacy business practices, regulatory and safety compliance, contractual pharmaceutical agreements, and the specialized needs of end-users within the pharmacy service lines. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and with outside suppliers, necessary to meet the requirements of this position.
