Pharmacist - Fulltime (Winnipeg)

Position

Staff Pharmacist (Oakville, Ontario). Under the general direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care, ensuring the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of scenarios including verification of safe medication administration, assessing and dispensing critical medications, responding to palliative care prescriptions, and arranging drug deliveries.
• Collaborate with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, timely, and completely.
• Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures.
• Consult with members of the pharmacy management team on unresolved day‑to‑day work functions.
