Summary The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) Geriatrics who is also referred to as the Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner (CPP) Geriatrics works in the pharmacy of a large tertiary care medical center and is involved with teaching, research and all facets of patient care with specialization in geriatric related disease states, such as dementia and age-related changes under a scope of practice. The CPS Geriatric may be asked to work at any of the sites if needed. The medical center is affiliated with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Medical School, Rutgers College of Pharmacy and the University of Sciences at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.
