Pharmacist

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and handles the receipt, preparation, and delivery of prescriptions accurately and timely. It ensures adequate inventory levels, advises patients with proper documentation, interacts positively with internal and external customers, and creates public awareness through health outreach.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely for patients.
• Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels meet patient needs.
• Provide counseling on new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and proactive manner.
• Educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics.
• Resolve patient needs and doctor requests/issues promptly and positively.
• Review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy dispensary.
