Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Providence Manor

Providence Manor is a 243‑bed long‑term care home located in downtown Kingston. The center provides care for residents with stable medical conditions who require 24‑hour nursing care. The PSW, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Care, Charge RN, RN or RPN, is the primary front‑line monitor of resident well‑being and reports any changes in resident status or concerns to the registered nursing staff. The PSW assists in the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centered care on assigned Resident Home Areas. Duties are performed in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Providence Care Centre, the Resident’s Bill of Rights, and applicable legislation and regulations. The PSW delivers basic nursing and hygiene care for residents and assists them with activities of daily living based on assessed needs and care plan requirements.
