About the Role
JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Permit & LOTO Coordinator to support the safe execution of construction, commissioning, startup, and operational activities across major mining and industrial projects. This role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with travel to project sites as required. The Permit & LOTO Coordinator will be responsible for administering and coordinating the site Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs, ensuring all work activities involving hazardous energy, high‑risk tasks, and operational interfaces are properly planned, authorized, executed, and documented. Working closely with Operations, Construction, Commissioning, Maintenance, HSE, and Contractors, this position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment and supporting operational readiness throughout project execution.
