Permanent Part-Time School Counsellor

The successful candidate

will collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary student services team to: Develop consistent, research-based practices that strive to support student learning and system improvement within a collaborative culture. Provide direct counselling services to students and participate in the identification and planning process with regard to unmet needs of children and youth in the school. Provide ongoing assessment and consultation regarding goals and activities to optimize the ability of students to function in their educational, home, and community environments. Provide written reports regarding student assessment and recommendations and share them with parents and school division personnel through team meetings. In addition, the successful candidate will: Keep an electronic record of services provided to students using a school division data system.
