As a Cardiovascular Perfusionist in a specialized pediatric setting, you will engage in clinical, educational, and research practices while providing critical life support. Your expertise in ECMO, cardiopulmonary bypass, and ventricular assist devices will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care during challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide extracorporeal life support for critical patients
• Initiate and transport patients on ECMO between hospitals
• Act as a perfusion resource in non-cardiac service areas
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on clinical practices
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited perfusion program
• Certification from relevant perfusion boards
