Position
School Wide Practitioner (Full time, Permanent) – Regional office in Porirua, with flexibility across Greater Wellington.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and support educators to implement the Positive Behaviour for Learning: School-Wide framework.
- Ensure fidelity to international best practice and consistent national implementation.
- Provide high‑quality special education services to learners, parents, families/whānau, caregivers, and other service users per Te Whaariki, Ka Hikitia, and the New Zealand Curriculum Framework.
- Collaborate with education sector, schools and early learning services to deliver support, expertise and resources.
- Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and advise organisations accordingly.
- Work as part of an integrated team, cooperating to solve problems, complete tasks and meet objectives.
