About the Role
The Paving Superintendent oversees daily asphalt paving field operations, coordinates with owners and general contractors, and organizes crews and subcontractors. The role ensures contracts are completed safely, on time, on budget, in compliance with specifications and customer expectations; provides accurate revenue and cost information to accounting and reviews invoices before release.
What You'll Accomplish
- Review project contract documents, organize crews and materials; plan, organize, and schedule work and determine cost effectiveness of operations.
- Create traffic control plans with third‑party traffic management and traffic subcontractors.
- Attend job‑progress meetings throughout project execution to ensure compliance with contract specifications, scheduling, and quality standards.
