Opportunity Description
Join Ponderosa Lodge as a part-time Occupational Therapist and provide essential assessments and treatment plans. Work within a supportive team Tuesday through Friday.
This role emphasizes client-centered care to enhance health outcomes for residents and their families. You will assess residents, create treatment programs, and educate families on skills and methods to ensure optimal independence. Your mentorship of Rehabilitation Assistants will further strengthen our interdisciplinary team's effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents for tailored occupational therapy
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Guide and educate caregivers on therapy techniques
• Support the rehabilitation team in service delivery
• Contribute to health outcomes within a team environment
Requirements:
• Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Current COTBC registration required
