Opportunity Description
The Philosophy Department in the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University seeks a part-time instructor of Philosophy to teach 2 sections of PHI 107, Theories of Knowledge and Reality, a 3 credit course, during Fall Semester 2026. This course meets in-person on the SU campus.
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department. All positions and offers are subject to funding availability and enrollment
Course Description: An introduction to major questions about knowledge and reality, such as the existence of God, the mind-body problem, free will and the nature and limits of knowledge. Historical and contemporary readings.
