Park Worker Trades (Equipment Technician) (Full-Time)

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Supervisor Golf Services/ Supervisor – Parks Operations North, performs annual maintenance and service requests to small motors, tools, and equipment operated by the parks north, parks south, golf services, and community services areas.

MAJOR TASKS

• Repairs and maintains all small motors, tools, and equipment including hydraulics, diesel, and gas-powered equipment.
• Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work.
• Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all equipment, and purchases repair parts and replacement supplies.
• Maintains a complete set of records including materials used, hours worked, etc. for each piece of equipment required.
• Cleans and maintains shop working area.
