Responsibilities
+ Examine abstracts of title, public records, and legal documents to determine the status of title for commercial properties.
+ Prepare accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company and underwriter guidelines.
+ Identify and resolve title issues, including liens, encumbrances, and ownership discrepancies.
+ Review attorney title opinions and Form 900s to issue Iowa Title Guaranty commitments and final certificates.
+ Ensure compliance with Iowa Title Guaranty program requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of program changes.
