Paediatrician- Locum Opportunity

Position Summary

Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) and the Orillia Paediatric Teaching Associates are seeking a Locum General Consultant Pediatrician from December 2025 to September 2026.

The successful applicant will join a group of seven consultant paediatricians and will practise in a variety of settings including outpatient office‑based clinics, hospital‑based subspecialty clinics, hospital inpatient and emergency coverage.

On‑Call

The pediatrician will be expected to participate in one of eight general paediatric calls at OSMH.

Qualifications

• FRCSC certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Paediatric Medicine
• Licensure or eligibility to practise in the province of Ontario (CPSO)
• Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association in good standing
