The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position as an Optometrist at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or higher. Salary and final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The School of Medicine has an active compensation plan which includes incentives and bonuses. The positionconsists of providing care alongside our ophthalmologists who cover all ophthalmic subspecialties including Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Strabismus, Pediatrics, and Neuro-ophthalmic conditions.
