Responsibilities

• Understand relevant skills, processes and equipment for manufacturing high precision optical components.
• Design and manufacture custom tooling for optical component manufacturing.
• Review project instructions, specifications and drawings to plan fabrication and testing of precision optical components and opto‑mechanical assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with specifications.
• Set up, test and measure optical components using metrology and optical testing equipment.
• Accurately interpret and record measurement data and test results.
• Assist in the assembly, integration, alignment and testing of opto‑mechanical assemblies.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance of tools and equipment as required.
