Job Description
The Ophthalmic Photographer supports a high-volume ophthalmology clinic by performing specialized ophthalmic imaging, basic clinical testing, and accurate documentation to enhance patient flow and overall patient experience. This role works closely with physicians and clinical staff to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and patient data that support timely and precise clinical decisions.
Responsibilities
+ Obtain thorough and accurate patient history and document it clearly in the medical record.
+ Perform and document visual acuity tests in accordance with clinic protocols.
+ Conduct optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography (OCTA) imaging as ordered by the physician.
+ Perform intravenous fluorescein angiography (IVFA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICG), including preparation, imaging, and documentation of results.
