Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve on a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals, and conduct strategic transportation/logistical analysis for senior Department of War (DoW) stakeholders using advanced modeling, simulation, and analytical tools. Responsibilities Independently develop and apply operations research methods to solve transportation operational and planning problems as well as quick reaction analyses. Analyze challenging problems of overall deployment and sustainment of joint forces in contested environments to provide insights to Department of War decision makers. Apply in-depth knowledge of the transportation of military equipment, sustainment, ammunition, and bulk fuel, force structure issues, and strategic mobility issues supporting the National Defense Strategy.
