Operations Accountant

Tourmaline Oil Corp. (“Tourmaline”) is Canada’s largest natural gas producer focused on long-term growth through an active exploration, development, production and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

We are currently looking for a Operations Accountant to join our Calgary office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Supervisor Operations Accounting, the Operations Accountant will be responsible for, but not be limited to, the following duties:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual prepaid and deposit analysis and entries
• Monthly reallocation of operating costs
• Process, manage and analyze insurance invoices
• Preparation and analysis of monthly accrual for specific operating expenses and income, including but not limited to property taxes, AER admin fees, BC production levy, orphan levies, TIER, carbon tax, freehold mineral taxes and PST
