What is the Opportunity?

CanAtom, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, is delivering the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project under a collaborative contract with Ontario Power Generation. The Onboarding and Training Team is looking for a Construction & Safety Instructor to provide training programs required for project onboarding and site access qualifications of staff supporting CanAtom projects at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.

What You'll Do Here

• Responsible for training project employees on a variety of Environmental Health and Safety related programs such as Work at Heights, Supervisor Training, First Aid, Elevating Work Platform, Forklift Operation, etc.
• Collaborate across the local organization and network to gather expectations, share best practices, and coordinate program requirements.
• Create an environment conducive to learning for employees.
