Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Occupational Therapy (Full-Time, 40, Day)

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Occupational Therapist (OT): Plans, develops and implements progressive rehabilitation programs for patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
• Behavioral Health (OT): Plans, develops and implements psychosocial rehabilitation programs for patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Assignment to OT:
• Standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
• Constant: reaching below shoulder.
• Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting usual weight of 15 pounds, pushing/pulling usual weight of up to 50 pounds, reaching above/below shoulder, squatting, twisting body, carrying usual weight of 15 pounds, repetitive arm/hand motions.
• Occasional: kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object.
