Opportunity Description
Deliver exceptional occupational therapy in acute care as a Casual Occupational Therapist. Collaborate with a team to assess, plan, and implement patient treatment strategies.
This position involves working casual shifts, Monday to Friday from 08:15 to 16:15, responding to the needs of patients in an acute care environment. You will utilize your expertise to assess clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide education to clients and caregivers. Your role includes overseeing rehabilitation assistants, contributing to care quality improvements, and engaging in research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate clients and design individualized therapy plans
• Work closely with a diverse rehabilitation team
• Guide clients and caregivers with education and support
• Lead rehabilitation assistants during treatment sessions
• Engage in program and quality improvement efforts
Requirements:
• Accredited occupational therapy degree and licensure
