Telus is recruiting an Occupational Health Nurse to provide a broad range of occupational health care services for the prevention of work‑related and non‑work‑related diseases, illnesses and injuries, including pre‑employment and periodic medicals, and FFW assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health services for the prevention of work‑related and non‑work‑related diseases, illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct pre‑employment and periodic medicals, as well as FFW assessments.
• Manage absences and return‑to‑work cases for work and non‑work‑related injuries and illnesses.
• Liaise with doctors and other internal and external healthcare professionals regarding employee health issues and ability to work.
• Facilitate and participate in meetings including weekly case reviews and health team meetings.
• Work under the OHD TELUS Health Team Manager and consult with on‑site health & safety professionals.
