Nutrition Services Worker - 15 Month

Overview

Wellington County is seeking a Nutrition Services Worker at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home. The role represents the County by adhering to the Code of Conduct and supporting a healthy, safe workplace where every person is respected. Reporting to the Nutrition Services Manager, the Nutrition Services Worker contributes to delivering a quality dining experience and ensures the safe, palatable, and efficient delivery of meals and snacks for residents.

Principal Responsibilities

• Applies the fundamental principle of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 in the operation of the home.
• Promotes and supports the entire Nutrition Services programme including resident meal and snack service, palliative care, hospitality and special events.
• Prepares light foods and beverages such as eggs, toast, cereal, muffins, sandwiches, snacks, and texture/fluid modifications according to standardized recipes.
