NOC 85101 - Harvesting labourers

Job Summary Harvesting labourers perform manual and machine-assisted harvesting tasks to collect and prepare crops during peak seasons. They work in teams to ensure produce is sorted, packed, and staged for transport while following safety and quality procedures. Number of Positions 6 Main Duties Harvest fruits, vegetables, or field crops using hand tools and mechanized equipment. Sort, grade, and pack harvested produce according to quality and packing standards. Load, unload, and transport crop containers to staging and storage areas. Operate and perform basic maintenance on harvesting tools and farm equipment. Monitor crop conditions and report pest, disease, or damage issues to supervisors. Follow health, safety, and sanitary procedures to maintain workplace and product quality.
