Job Summary Perform installation, maintenance and repair of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems in commercial and residential settings. Diagnose system faults, perform corrective work, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Install, assemble, and connect HVAC and refrigeration units, ductwork, piping and controls according to specifications and codes Inspect, test, diagnose and repair components such as compressors, motors, fans, valves, thermostats and control systems Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups to optimize system performance and energy efficiency Recover, reclaim and handle refrigerants in compliance with regulatory and environmental procedures Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals to plan and execute work Complete work orders, maintenance logs and service reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients Requirements Completion of a recognized apprentic...
