Job Summary Provide clinical and technical support for animal patients in a veterinary setting. Perform diagnostic testing, patient monitoring, and client education to support veterinary care. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Assist veterinarians during physical examinations, surgical procedures and dental treatments. Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia under the direction of a veterinarian. Collect, label and process diagnostic samples and perform routine laboratory tests. Monitor hospitalized patients, record observations, and carry out prescribed treatments and medications. Communicate with clients regarding preventive care, treatment plans and post-procedure instructions. Maintain medical records, sterilize instruments, and manage clinic supplies and inventory.
