Inpatient Rehab/Integrated Stroke Unit
Qualifications
Certification/Experience/Knowledge:- Current Certificate of Registration - College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate required (recent within the last twelve months)
- Demonstrated medical clinical experience in an acute care and rehabilitation setting required
- Experience in providing care to TIA/Stroke patients an asset
- Medication administration required
- Experience with enteral feeding, tracheostomy care; CADD Pump and wound care an asset
- Stroke Nursing Certification required or successful completion within 60 days of hire required
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent level of interpersonal skills required
- Excellent level of written and verbal communication skills required
