Island Health is looking for a dedicated Neurologist to join our team in Nanaimo, BC. Work within a dynamic group and provide specialized care in multiple neurology areas.
As part of a team of five neurologists, you will focus on comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for conditions such as Epilepsy and Cognitive Neurology. This position not only allows you to provide essential medical services but also to engage in teaching activities with UBC. You'll support a vibrant community and play a crucial role in developing best practices for stroke care and other neurology subspecialties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inpatient and outpatient neurology consultations
• Enhance services in Stroke, MS, and other areas
• Participate in UBC medical teaching programs
• Contribute to community-focused stroke care strategies
