Summary You will serve as a Natural Resource Specialist with Bureau of Land Management. The work includes performing a variety of professional and technical functions related to natural resource management. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Advises state or field leadership on natural resources concerns Leads or serves on an interdisciplinary team of BLM specialists to draft or review analysis of potential impacts to natural resources Implements natural resource plans by developing specific land improvement projects using highly specialized methods and techniques Pans and carries out intensive investigations into complex natural resources concerns Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
