Municipal Law Enforcement Officer - Mobile Safety & Security (Full-Time)

Job Description

As a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer – Mobile Safety & Security, you will patrol municipal properties and public places, respond to community concerns, support safety and security initiatives, and help foster a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for residents, visitors and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence in the community, responding to alarms, complaints, and calls for service that do not warrant police intervention, in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct proactive foot patrols, mobile security patrols, and stationary assignments of designated municipal facilities, properties, and assets, with intent to prevent and respond to any security and safety matters, with a focus on City Hall, transit terminals, onboard transit, arenas, parklands, community facilities, and other municipal assets as directed.
