Job Summary: 
 

Reporting to the Senior Multiskilled Technician (Commercial Vehicles), the post holder is responsible for preparing, maintaining and repairing the Council’s fleet of approximately 200 vehicles, including road sweepers. This multiskilled role encompasses vehicle mechanics, vehicle electrics, and coach building (fabrication and bodywork), ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, costeffective, and operational. Work is completed independently or as part of a team to required standards, regulations and manufacturer specifications.
