The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at the Atlantic Veterinary College requires Animal Health Technicians to work on a casual, as needed, basis to support the Small Animal (SA) and/or Large Animal (LA) Hospitals during peak times/busy periods (may include weekdays, weekends, evenings, overnights, statutory holidays , and UPEI closures), and to replace technical staff vacations and/or temporary leaves, as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work within a team to undertake technical duties and responsibilities in support of patient and client care across the SA and LA hospital services caseload and the SA primary care emergency service
  • Assist as required with small and/or large animal hospital services in support of efficient and high standards of patient and client care
