**MRI Technologist Assistant** **_- Memorial Regional Medical Center_**
**Job Summary:**
The MRI Tech Assistant is responsible for answering the phone, communicating with patients, families and other staff, verifying scripts and patient schedules. They conduct patient interviews to acquire patient history; assist with getting patients on and off the scanning tables; assist with the clinical monitoring of patients; assist with transporting patients to and from the department; cleans and stocks rooms, and other general duties as needed.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Completes assigned tasks in a time frame appropriate for the situation; demonstrates flexibility to fluctuation in workload.
+ Maintains controlled access to the magnet room.
+ Professionally interacts with physicians, technologist, physician offices, hospital staff, patient family members and
